Misty mountains and coffee grounds CHIKMAGALURE Place: Chikmagalure Direction: Birur - Chikmagalur Crews: PU friends vehicle : car MULLAYANGIRI PEAK: This is the highest peak in Karnataka and is a part of Baba Budinger Hills of Chikkamangalur taluk. Mullayangiri Peak got its name from a tomb which is dedicated to Muluppa Swamy, a holy man who mediates in the nearby caves. Interestingly, those caves are inhabited by bats and can be explored. Most importantly, Mullayangiri Peak is loved for its trekking experience. So, make sure you visit this place for a lovely trekking experience. This was amazing experience that we had.
