MULLAYANGIRI PEAK:

This is the highest peak in Karnataka and is a part of Baba Budinger Hills of Chikkamangalur taluk. Mullayangiri Peak got its name from a tomb which is dedicated to Muluppa Swamy, a holy man who mediates in the nearby caves. Interestingly, those caves are inhabited by bats and can be explored. Most importantly, Mullayangiri Peak is loved for its trekking experience. So, make sure you visit this place for a lovely trekking experience.

This was amazing experience that we had. The fag covers allover the peak and it was like standing in clouds. Better to in rainy and winter middle of the time. The traffic was heavy as usual. We had maggi before hiking. It was around 3pm but it feels like 5am. It was must visiting place.

MANIKYA DHARA FALLS:

At a distance of 5 km from Baba Budangiri Dattatreya Peetha & 29 km from Chikmagalur, Manikya Dhara Falls is situated in a dense forest of Baba Budangiri hills in the Western Ghats of India. With a height of about 30 feet, the waterfall is offering great views of Baba Budangiri Hills. Locally known as Nellikayi Theertha, this waterfall is considered a holy site by Hindus as well as Muslims. Accessing Manikyadhara Waterfalls involves getting down 200+ steps. The view of the Western Ghats from the Manikyadhara waterfalls area is captivating. Watchtowers and resting areas are available along with the steps.

HONNAMMANA HALLA FALLS

A cinematic scenery of the Baba Budangiri hills in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, lies the Honnammana Halla Falls, a scenic spot that offers a refreshing break for travelers. While not a grand cascade, the falls hold a certain charm that makes them a popular pitstop.

About us 

It was one day trip that suddenly planed with my PU friends and most cherished day. We are 6 friends (Sinchana,Preethi,Aishwarya,Neeksha, Likhitha and me)

The day before it was Nakesha's bday on 10 oct. we celebrate her bday in her home. It was memorable and the next day we planed to this trip. At 5am we leave the home by Birur to Chikkmagalure we went by bus. In there we booked car for rent by 8am we start the journey. At 8pm we returned to Neeksha’s home by next day all of us are returned to our home.
